Chain Link fence is a standard option to keep kids and pets inside your boundaries and intruders out. Typically installed at a height of 4', it can be custom made at 6-8' tall as well. The posts are usually imbedded in the ground at 3 feet to ensure stability. Our chain mesh fence options include galvanized coatings for weather resistance, as well as custom colored rubber coatings that will last years. Chain link fences are easy to see through, not obstructing the views from inside or outside. This is a low cost, basic option for home security. For added privacy we can install optional vinyl slats in the fence also.
Wooden Privacy Fence comes in a variety of custom heights, styles, colors, and types of wood. Cedar is a standard material as well as oak and fir. There is as many styles as colors for wood privacy fence also, pickets can be in a tight arrangement, staggered, placed horizontally and vertically. This is the ultimate fence for keeping your property safe from wind, intruders, noise polution, and prying eyes. Most homeowners that install a privacy fence enjoy their own oasis in the back yard and don't want to be bothered by things outside the property
Vinyl fence is a durable, long lasting product the needs no maintenance. Variations of rail and post design, as well as custom colors enable and long lasting, elegant look. Vinyl fence doesn't offer the security of other fence types, but is more of a boundary that looks great from the road. The long lasting contrast of bright white can look good for years against a property or tree line. Electric wire can be added between the posts to keep dogs and animals out while preserving the elegant look of the fence also.
Ornamental fence is a favorite of our installers! With so many options in KC we rarely install the same style twice. Materials consist of aluminum or steel, both loosely label wrought iron style fence. Designs of this fence can be modern and robust or thin and ornamental like of world English fence. Heights and lengths between columns vary, and the finish is usually a black powder coat. These fences are popular along gardens, walkways, and pools because of their fancy look.
Temporary fence is something we install a lot of in Kansas City. With the growing number of construction projects in the city its important to keep the public out of job sites for safety and security reasons. This is usually done with a free standing style of chain link fence, sometimes accompanied by privacy slats or a dust fabric.
The last consideration to and fence installation is the Gates. Gates are the entry point to any fenced property, and can be custom made to match any style of fence, complimenting the entire project. They can also be automated for easy entry in a vehicle.
We pride ourselves in being the premium Fence company in the Kansas City Metro area!
What sets us apart from other contractors in the Kansas City area? Simple. The pride we take in our work! Every fence we install is straight, secure, and follows the flow of the land in a way that compliments the surrounding area. With the harsh changes in temps that we have in the midwest it's also important to over dig and use lots of concrete for the fence posts. Vinyl, wood, or steel fence posts all need at least a three foot anchor of concrete when installed. Have you ever seen a Vinyl fence that looks like a line graph because some posts seem taller than others? This is caused by "ground push", or forces of the dirt around the post creating enough pressure to force the post and concrete out of the ground, slowly over time. Typically this is due to the post not deep enough in the ground, not enough concrete to stabilize the post, or the initial hole not dug wide enough. KC Fence Pro's does everything we can to build a fence that will never push out of the ground, we take pride in knowing that our fences will stay straight and true for as long as the fence is up!
We also only use superior fencing materials. All our fencing products are bought from the highest quality suppliers in the area. Our name is on your fence for life and we don't want a fence failing in ten years because the material it's constructed out of fails. Thicker vinyl, steel posts that are double galvanized, perfect powder coat on wrought iron, and pressure treated lumber are not something we upsell to our customers, its standard on all our projects, and you should expect nothing less!
FAQ
Every project is diferent. Fence height is determined by factors such as neighborhood, site layout, what your need to protect inside our outside the fence ect. Chain link fence can range from 4 feet tall all the way to 10'. For children and small dogs a 4' fence is suitable to establish a property line. For comercial property, or homes with larger dogs we suggest looking at taller options to make the property more secure.
It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Over the lifetime of the fence, vinyl is less likely to need maintinence and cleaning. Mold, dirt, and grime do not easily attach to vinyl fence because of its smooth texture and cleaning can be as easy as quickly spraying it with a hose. Wood fence on the other hand may require a pressure was, stain, and sealer every 3-5 years depending on the placement and environment of the fence. A wood fence in a highly shaded area will weather diferently than a fence placed in the sunlight all day.
Depending on your local city codes and ordanances you may not have a choice. Some codes require a privacy fence around a pool area, but some do not. If not, its a matter of choise on how you want your pool area to be seen from the street. Some customers prefer privacy while swimming, while some enjoy the classic look of an ornamental fence.

Did you know that a new fence can potentially increase your property value?
In the crazy housing market today, homes with a fence that outlines and protects the property are bringing an extra 11% in sales compared to similar homes in the area without a fence. This applies for all fence types, but vinyl and wooden privacy fences are the popular choices for new fence projects in the Kansas City area the last couple years. Most of our fence installation work prior to 2019 was chain link fencing, this has transformed as home and property owners are increasingly thoughtful of privacy while using the property, and with the growing population in the KC area it is likely that privacy fences will continue to grown in popularity. This is not only for the security they provide but also the uniqueness that we can offer with more modern styles of builds and custom additions that were not available in years past. If you are looking to sell your home soon, adding a fence might boost your chances of getting top dollar for your house or property.
